An experienced Account Manager had been constructively dismissed from 2 recent previous jobs during her probation period which completely destroyed her confidence in her own ability. She desperately needed reassurance that she was capable of employment despite these setbacks. Together with her Richmond Fellowship Employment Specialist, they reviewed her CV, prepared her for interview and began applying for jobs; all the time building her confidence. She has now found paid full-time work and feels more confident than she has done in a very long time.
I have just had a job interview at Prezzo. They have asked me to come back for a 2 hour trial this Friday. I did take my CV with me this time as you advised. Thank you, your encouragement and help gave me the courage and confidence to try for it. In the past having no experience of hospitality, and thinking they would only want really young staff would have put me off applying.
I found that the employment support I have received gave me the confidence to redo my CV and was so supportive giving me confidence to find a new job. I honestly could not have got back to work without his help and will be eternally grateful.
Thank you for all your support this year. It really has made a difference to me staying well and staying in work. Much appreciated.
I’ve only spoken to you for the first time today, and I already feel that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You’ve given me hope, thank you so much!
Thank you so much for your support. Your positive words helped me to build my self-esteem and confidence. I have got a job now, I am so happy and for you and Richmond Fellowship for supporting me to achieve my goal.
